Doggydo.org is a different breed of 'kennel'. Our philosophy is that dogs like to run, play and interact with humans and other dogs. We wanted to create a supervised environment for similarly minded dogs and energy levels, where the dogs can just enjoy being on the acreage and have some fun! Doggydo.org is just like sending the kids to Grandma's house....your dog can come here to receive extra attention, meet new friends, socialize, walk, play and get spoiled for the day or an extended stay.
Our kennel is different from other kennels in that we have an open concept kennel and a traditional kennel.
Our traditional kennel includes a large individual indoor and outdoor run with their own fresh RO water. The traditional kennel includes individual outdoor play time in our large fully fenced 1.4 acre play area or inside in our 3200 sq.ft. building. The traditional kennel concept is perfect for dogs that prefer only human interaction, are not spayed or neutered, are alittle antisocial, or maybe a little older.
We also have an open concept kennel - Yepee!! - which is a new concept in the valley. This is where each individual dog is fed and sleeps in their own indoor room and they have access to their own outdoor run but during the day they are all playing and interacting together with the other dogs and us. The open concept is a vacation for your dog! The dogs LOVE it! They are fully supervised at all times and they get to run, walk and play with the others in the large indoor or outdoor play areas. They have a fantastic time meeting new friends, interacting with our friendly staff and lounging around on the couches or playing with toys. Just a warning - they will come home tired and sometimes they don't want to leave, he,he - :)
Doggydo.org is located about 8 minutes outside of Courtenay at 4704 Forbidden Plateau Rd. We are open daily, 365 days a year. Our pick up/drop off times are Monday through Friday 8 am until 9 am and 4 pm until 6 pm and Saturday and Sunday 10 am until 2 pm unless otherwise arranged.
